hey all, took delivery of the jetta today. its certainly a project and a half. managed to take it for a drive up the road, and was Extrmely!!! suprised by the acceleration, almost twice as much as my golf! should be a lot of fun! keep you guys posted

Glad you did it! I'm looking at inviting all Tassie forum members up to our place to stay in our tourist cottage for a weekend. (Just got to find one that's not booked!) so we may see the Jetta there????

weeeeeeeell, currently the jetta "needs attention", i spent the whole of yesterday arvo/this morning just cleaning it, as golfwise's ever lovely cats had found themselves a bit of a home in there . it ran out of rego a week-ish ago, and needs a few bits and peices to get it running safely. depending on the date of this meet, you will surely see either the golf or jetta there (i hope).
